Assistant Manager Analyst – Group Supply Chain

About the role

The Assistant Manager Analyst – Group Supply Chain will lead financial control across the end‑to‑end supply chain, owning the CBM‑based open‑book costing model from port of origin to the customer. The role covers imports, procurement, inventory, warehouse, wharf and transport functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the CBM‑based open‑book costing model across the supply chain.
• Calculate landed costs including FOB, freight, insurance, clearance and transport.
• Track and manage inventory costing by port of origin and shipment, monitor average landed cost and storage cost per CBM/month.
• Analyse slow‑moving inventory impact on CBM costs and manage obsolescence provisions.
• Monitor purchase price variance against budget and identify cost‑saving opportunities with alternative suppliers.
• Control warehouse and transport costs per CBM, analyse transportation cost per kilometre and track damages and consumables.
• Manage demurrage, detention and other leakage costs, close unclaimable insurance gaps and monitor AOD turnaround time.
• Partner with supply‑chain, procurement and operations teams for reporting and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain cost analysis and financial control.
• Ability to manage landed‑cost calculations, inventory valuation and purchase price variance.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor warehouse, transport and leakage costs.
• Experience collaborating with procurement, logistics and operations teams.
