Assistant Manager - Accounting & Finance

About the role

Infomate (Pvt) Ltd, a leading shared services provider and subsidiary of the John Keells Group, is looking for an experienced finance professional to lead Accounts Payable and Finance Operations. The role involves driving service excellence, process efficiency and team performance within a global finance & accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Accounts Payable and Finance Operations.
• Manage high‑volume invoice processing and end‑to‑end AP activities.
• Lead, coach and develop the team to achieve KPIs and operational targets.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Manage client queries, escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax and IRD requirements.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance with strong AP exposure.
• Fully qualified CA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Hands‑on experience in Accounts Payable and invoice processing.
• Hands‑on SAP experience is mandatory.
• Master’s degree or currently pursuing one is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation and IRD matters.
• Proven people‑management and leadership experience.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities.
