Assistant Manager – Accounting & Finance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead our Accounts Payable and Finance Operations team at Infomate. The role involves managing high‑volume invoice processing, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Accounts Payable and Finance Operations.
• Manage high‑volume invoice processing and end‑to‑end AP activities.
• Coach, develop and motivate the team to achieve KPIs and operational targets.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Handle client queries and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax and IRD requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting & Finance with strong AP exposure.
• Fully qualified CA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Hands‑on experience in Accounts Payable and invoice processing.
• Mandatory hands‑on SAP experience.
• Master’s degree or currently pursuing one is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation and IRD matters.
• Proven people‑management and leadership experience.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities.
