Assistant – Donor Correspondence Management

About the role
The Assistant – Donor Correspondence Management supports the national sponsorship operation at World Vision Sri Lanka. The role ensures smooth processing of sponsor letters, gifts, and communications, helping maintain strong sponsor‑child relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate sponsor‑child engagement and communication.
- Process sponsor letters, electronic letters, gifts, and birthday cards received at the national office.
- Maintain accurate records and tracking sheets for all correspondence.
- Support capacity‑building trainings on sponsorship standards and business processes.
- Participate in field visits, engage with AP teams, children, and communities.
- Coordinate with external translators and ensure timely dispatch of correspondence.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in World Vision or a similar humanitarian agency (advantageous).
- Higher Diploma (≥6 months) in Administration, Management or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and cross‑cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in English, Sinhala and Tamil (reading, writing, speaking).
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
