Assistant Controller – Financial Reporting & Control

About the role

The Assistant Controller will support the finance team in ensuring accurate financial data, robust internal controls, and compliance with accounting regulations. This role contributes to the preparation and review of periodic financial statements across various business units.

Key responsibilities

• Verify financial data in line with Group procedures on a periodic basis.
• Maintain appropriate internal controls over financial reporting processes.
• Ensure adherence to all financial and accounting regulations and legislation.
• Prepare and review periodic financial statements for business, geography, function, or division, and analyse material variances.
• Support finance, business, and corporate stakeholders with accounting, reporting, and financial control activities.
• Assist, support, and coordinate responses to internal and external audits.

Required profile

• CA or ACCA qualification (Affiliate or Member).
• Previous experience in financial reporting and financial control is advantageous.
