Architectural Designer

About the role

Bleu, a Sri‑Lanka based architecture and interior design studio, is looking for an Architectural Designer to join its Colombo office. The role is full‑time and on‑site, working closely with architects, interior designers and project managers to shape innovative and functional spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare construction drawings, technical documentation and visual presentations for approvals and client meetings.
• Coordinate with external consultants, engineers and urban planners to integrate site‑specific solutions.
• Support urban and site‑planning activities, including site analysis and contextual integration.
• Participate in design reviews, refine project documentation and uphold Bleu’s quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Strong foundation in architectural design and ability to translate concepts into buildable solutions.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary, on‑site environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using Revit.
• Ability to create 3D models and visualisations in SketchUp or similar tools.
