AI Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an AI Security Engineer to join our fast‑growing cybersecurity team. You will lead security assessments of AI/ML models, large language model (LLM) applications and related AI‑enabled systems, helping our clients protect against emerging generative‑AI threats.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of AI/ML models, LLM applications, APIs, agents, and AI‑enabled systems.
• Evaluate AI systems against OWASP guidance for LLM/GenAI security, including prompt injection, data leakage, insecure output handling, excessive agency, and model abuse scenarios.
• Research emerging AI security threats, attack techniques, tools and frameworks.
• Contribute to CyberLabs’ AI security assessment methodology and service capabilities.

Required profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in security or AI‑related roles.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications or hands‑on research experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, GenAI applications and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with AI development frameworks and APIs.
• Familiarity with OWASP LLM/GenAI security guidance.
• AI red‑team techniques, adversarial machine learning and AI security testing.
• Penetration testing of AI/ML models and AI‑enabled systems.
