AI Engineer

About the role

Gallagher is seeking an AI Engineer to serve as the first point of contact for supporting its AI systems. You will work closely with business and technical users to troubleshoot issues, monitor system health, and ensure smooth operation of AI tools such as Copilot Studio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming tickets and emails related to AI agents, Copilot Studio, and other AI solutions.
• Troubleshoot problems, answer user questions, and escalate complex issues to developers.
• Monitor the health of deployed AI systems and proactively flag potential issues.
• Communicate directly with users to clarify problems, confirm fixes, and provide a seamless support experience.
• Maintain and update documentation, identify recurring issues, and contribute to long‑term improvements.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or service desk, preferably with business software.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the judgment to know when to escalate.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues to both business and technical audiences.
• Organised approach to handling multiple tickets and priorities.
• Customer‑focused mindset, proactively reaching out to users to verify resolutions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot Studio.
• Experience using monitoring platforms like Azure Monitor.
