AI Engineer – Build Scalable Production AI Solutions

About the role

Eyepax is looking for an AI Engineer to design, build, integrate and support secure, scalable, production‑ready AI capabilities. You will work in a cross‑functional team to turn business requirements into reliable, cloud‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI and machine‑learning features for customer‑facing and internal applications, including language‑model assistants, chatbots and document‑processing tools.
• Build retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines using embeddings, vector search and both structured and unstructured data.
• Design, implement and maintain APIs and backend services that expose AI models, using OAuth, token handling and webhooks.
• Containerize, deploy and operate AI services in cloud environments with monitoring, rate‑limiting, logging and cost controls.
• Prepare, clean and validate datasets, perform prompt design, model testing and systematic output evaluation.
• Apply security and privacy controls to mitigate prompt‑injection, data‑leakage and unsafe‑output risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related discipline.
• At least four years of professional software experience, including one to three years of hands‑on AI/ML development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and working knowledge of at least one additional language (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, Go, Scala).
• Experience with SQL and relational, NoSQL or vector databases.
