After Sales Engineer – Solar PV Systems

About the role

Brantel Lanka is seeking a motivated After Sales Engineer to join its technical team. You will provide on‑site technical support, troubleshoot solar PV installations, and ensure post‑installation service quality for both client and EPC contractor sites across Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Visit project and EPC partner sites to inspect and resolve breakdown issues.
• Offer expert technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to installers and contractors.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and repair on on‑grid, hybrid, and off‑grid solar energy systems.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, field service documentation, and feedback for internal teams.
• Manage complex technical escalations and coordinate directly with equipment manufacturers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with solar PV systems.
• Valid driving licence and personal motorbike for site visits.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, leadership qualities, and computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Solar PV system troubleshooting (on‑grid, hybrid, off‑grid).
• Experience with inverter brands such as GoodWe, SMA, and DEYE.
• Understanding of local grid standards and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and reporting tools.
