Advanced Specialist, Product Program Management

About the role

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist in Product Program Management to lead agile software product delivery. The role focuses on requirements gathering, planning, risk management and continuous process improvement across cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive software product development using Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Lead roadmap planning and ensure milestone commitments are met with high quality.
• Communicate project status, risks and issues to all stakeholders.
• Provide timely project metrics, reports and updates.
• Train, coach and evangelize agile mindset, frameworks and practices.
• Promote continuous improvement of agile best practices and foster a collaborative culture.
• Facilitate requirement analysis and grooming for feature enhancements.
• Coordinate with multiple dependent teams across locations and time zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Information Technology or Management.
• 6+ years experience in software development projects (development or QA) and at least 4 years as a Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Experience with internet technologies and software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework or DevOps is a plus.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, CSM, PMI‑ACP.
