Activity Project Manager – Fixed‑Term (2‑Year)

About the role

Michelin is seeking an Activity Project Manager to lead an industrial or process project for a two‑year fixed‑term period. You will be responsible for delivering project objectives set by the sponsor and steering committee while adhering to the company’s project methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the project framework, resources and scope in line with sponsor objectives.
• Apply the Industrial or Process Project Approach, ensuring compliance with charters, check‑lists, milestones, governance and budget controls.
• Manage quality, cost, timing and risk according to CdC requirements.
• Lead the project team following the Manager Guide and Group Transverse Management guidelines.
• Incorporate change management activities and achieve expected outcomes.
• Conduct self‑assessments of project performance and develop corrective action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial project management.
• Professional project‑management qualification is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
