Activity Assistant (Part‑Time)

About the role

Central Gardens Post Acute is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activity Assistant to join our team on a part‑time basis. You will work closely with the Activity Director to design and deliver engaging programs that improve the quality of life for our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning, preparing, and facilitating daily activities and events.
• Tailor programs to match each resident’s interests, abilities, and psychosocial needs.
• Ensure all activities comply with federal, state, local, and corporate guidelines.
• Monitor resident participation and provide feedback to improve future programming.
• Maintain activity supplies and equipment in good condition.

Required profile

• Demonstrated compassion and enthusiasm for working with seniors.
• Ability to think creatively and adapt activities to diverse needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
