About the role
We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join Varun Beverages’ finance team. The role will support the plant’s accounting operations, financial planning and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for the business.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Manage plant accounting, including cost tracking for power, fuel, repair & maintenance, and C&C expenses.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the preparation of quarterly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate audit activities and ensure compliance with reporting schedules.
- Monitor internal financial controls and support fraud risk management initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance and commercial functions.
- Experience working with SAP (essential).
- Good interpersonal and people‑management skills.
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing environment is desirable.
