Accountant – Full‑time (Hybrid)

About the role

You will manage day‑to‑day accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, tax compliance, and ledger management across Rubaai's operations. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, financial records, and daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and vendor payments.
• Manage payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and tax deductions.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory filings, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors for smooth financial reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA/CIMA/ACCA a plus).
• 2‑4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a tech or corporate environment.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and MS Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
