About the role
COEINS is seeking a capable, organised and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its team in Anuradhapura. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow planning and compliance, while delivering accurate financial information for management decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations and financial activities
- Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations
- Conduct financial analysis, cost control and management reporting
- Coordinate audits and support taxation and statutory compliance
- Strengthen internal financial controls and improve processes
- Supervise accounting operations and provide finance support
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Part qualification in CA / ACCA / CIMA (advantageous)
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with accounting/ERP software
