Accountant – Accounts Receivable Focus

About the role

Acumatica is seeking an Accountant to join its Accounting team. You will work collaboratively to ensure accurate financial reporting and deliver an exceptional customer experience through effective accounts receivable management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable lifecycle, partnering with sales, customer success, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with month‑end close procedures, including revenue recognition and account reconciliations using Blackline.
• Assess the validity of account balances, investigate aged items, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Oversee monthly contract billing, reviewing contract terms, GL accounts, and deferral codes.
• Perform daily AR cash receipts processing and cash account reconciliations.
• Prepare credit memos, obtain approvals, and address customer or partner queries.
• Support external audit and tax requirements by preparing audit schedules.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports quickly and contribute to system implementation projects to improve accounting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Blackline for reconciliations.
