Account Relationship Officer – Multiple Locations

About the role

The bank is seeking Account Relationship Officers to manage and expand its current account portfolio across several branches (Colombo, Galle, Kiribathgoda, Kandy and Jaffna). The role focuses on deepening relationships with existing customers, acquiring new business‑banking and SME clients, and delivering a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen relationships with the existing customer base and grow the account portfolio.
• Acquire new business‑banking and SME customers through an aggressive sales strategy.
• Introduce innovative fee‑based facilities and services to increase revenue.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and coordinate with branch managers and support departments.
• Manage all current account transaction requirements within the assigned region.

Required profile

• Full or part qualification in Sales, Marketing or Banking (beneficial).
• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in banking/finance, preferably in liability sales, business or transactional banking, or relationship banking.
• Knowledge of basic banking operations, including cash and cheque facilities (beneficial).
• Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English.
• Target‑driven professional with proven planning, negotiating and selling abilities.
• Confident, outgoing personality with a strong sales and customer‑service mindset.
