Account Relationship Officer – Colombo & Jaffna

About the role

We are looking for dynamic Account Relationship Officers to strengthen our presence in Colombo and Jaffna. The role focuses on deepening relationships with existing business banking and SME customers while actively acquiring new accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance the current account portfolio by building strong relationships with existing customers and targeting new business banking and SME clients.
• Drive revenue growth by promoting innovative fee‑based facilities and services.
• Execute an aggressive sales strategy to attract new customers to the bank.
• Provide high‑quality service by responding promptly to inquiries and coordinating with branch managers and support departments.

Required profile

• Full or partial qualification in Sales, Marketing or Banking (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in banking/finance, preferably in liability sales, business or transactional banking, or relationship banking.
• Knowledge of basic banking operations such as cash and cheque facilities.
• Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English.
• Target‑driven professional with proven planning, negotiating and selling abilities.
