Account Manager – Colombo

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to join its sales team in Colombo. You will be responsible for driving revenue, building commercial relationships, and promoting QR products across the assigned portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the revenue budget for the assigned portfolio of accounts.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and secure sales leads.
• Increase brand visibility by coordinating marketing materials and joint sales activities.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term sales strategies to maximise revenue and reduce cost of sales.
• Research airline schedules, fares and market trends, providing recommendations.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing and potential customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales or account management.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational, administrative and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a target‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
• High confidentiality and openness to feedback.
