Account Executive – Education Consultancy

About the role

The Account Executive will join an educational consultancy dedicated to helping Sri Lankan students study abroad. Working on‑site in Colombo, you will guide prospective and existing students and their families through the entire study‑abroad journey, from programme selection to visa processing.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients in person, understand their academic goals and recommend suitable overseas programmes.
• Explain admission requirements, application steps and visa procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions in the CRM system.
• Follow up on leads, convert inquiries into confirmed enrollments and achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare documentation and support visa applications.
• Participate in marketing events, seminars and outreach activities to attract new clients.

Required profile

• Strong client relationship and account management abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, able to handle multiple client cases and meet deadlines.
• Sales‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Basic knowledge of overseas education processes; consultancy experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Colombo and attend occasional events.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM tools for client management.
