Account Executive – Client Relations

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Colombo serves as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day‑to‑day communications and ensuring that project deliverables meet client objectives. You will work closely with internal creative and digital teams to drive successful campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison for client accounts, handling communications and aligning deliverables with client expectations.
• Collaborate with creative and digital marketing teams to brief campaigns, track progress, and coordinate approvals.
• Monitor campaign performance, prepare performance reports, gather client feedback, and proactively resolve issues.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, contribute to proposal development, and support new‑business initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong client‑facing experience in client services or client relations.
• Proven ability in business relationship management and nurturing client accounts.
• Demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
• Solid analytical skills for interpreting campaign data and providing insights.
• Knowledge of digital marketing concepts, platforms, and KPIs (social media, paid advertising, content marketing, analytics tools).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Agency experience or background in FMCG, food, or hospitality is a plus.
