Account Executive – Bookkeeping

About the role

Lead Accounting Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive with 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience and strong knowledge of QuickBooks to maintain accurate accounting records for local and international clients. The role involves day‑to‑day bookkeeping, reconciliations and supporting the preparation of monthly accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day bookkeeping records, recording sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations and maintain accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare supplier and customer reconciliations and assist with monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Review ledger balances, identify discrepancies and support month‑end and year‑end accounting activities.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain missing accounting information and support VAT, tax and audit‑related requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Reliable, accurate, organised and capable of handling multiple client accounts with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
• Strong understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with Xero or other accounting software (preferred).
