Senior Program Management - Assurance (GDS)

About the role

EY Assurance is looking for a Senior Program Management professional (AOA, SAE) in Colombo to join its Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance team. The role involves developing relationships with global EY teams serving these engagements and supervising the delivery of GDS engagement management support activities. Candidates should have experience in general management and be able to work within the GDS framework and assist Assurance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Project manage global assurance engagements through multi-location coordination, engagement economics, confirmations and database management.
• Manage projects and assurance initiatives for EY's largest clients with the GDS Assurance teams globally.
• Identify risk areas through regular interaction with Global teams and keep stakeholders informed of problems, exceptions and issues.
• Prepare and present engagement results, analysis, project status, risks and findings, including post-review analysis with trends, KPIs and benchmarking.
• Manage transition milestones for first-year assurance engagements and budgets versus actuals on assigned projects.
• Maintain global engagement databases and contact lists, prepare meeting notes and talk tracks, and take responsibility for work reviewed before submission to seniors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (B.Com/BBA) with 0-1 years of operations and general business experience.
• General management experience; ideally an interest in business and commerciality.

Required skills

• Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Project management skills to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives.
• Analytical skills and ability to gather and analyse data from many sources.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
