About the role
Regulatory Affairs assist in obtaining and maintaining regulatory approvals for beauty, health, wellness, cosmetics, and food products. Part of their strategic directive is to achieve a balance between regulatory concerns, technology, marketing objectives, compliance, time to market, and costs.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and manage regulatory dossiers for domestic and international markets, ensuring completeness, accuracy and timely submission.
- Manage regulatory submissions to the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA), including dossier preparation, compilation, submission, tracking and follow‑up.
- Coordinate with NMRA for product registrations, variations, renewals, queries and other regulatory activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain accurate product master data and regulatory documentation.
- Review and respond to deficiencies and regulatory queries from authorities, customers and business partners.
- Assist in developing and maintaining Regulatory Affairs SOPs and support internal audit and QMS requirements.
- Participate in regulatory compliance and risk‑benefit assessments.
- Identify, plan and implement regulatory process improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple regulatory projects and competing deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in global regulatory requirements, product compliance, regulatory processes and procedures.
- Experience in product compliance or product stewardship.
- Prior hands‑on experience with NMRA regulatory activities and submissions is an advantage.
- Experience in preparation and submission of regulatory dossiers for local and/or international markets.
- Experience in cosmetics regulations would be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
