Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Our client is a well‑established organization in the construction industry seeking a detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor to support project cost and commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Verify BOQs against project drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quantity take‑offs, measurements and cost assessments.
• Validate subcontractor, supplier and contractor payments.
• Monitor project costs and support budget control.
• Verify contractor claims, variations and interim payment applications.
• Monitor material and supply control to minimise wastage and shortages.
• Evaluate quotations and supplier proposals.
• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and quantities.
• Maintain records of project costs, contracts, payments and measurements.
• Prepare cost, valuation and procurement reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution.
• 1–3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity measurement and cost management.
• Understanding of construction materials and procurement processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Experience with BOQ verification and contractor billing.
