About the role
The PME Coordinator will lead the coordination of Project Monitoring & Evaluation (PME) processes across programmes, ensuring alignment with the LEAP3 framework and the organisation's standards. This role supports cluster and area programme managers to deliver high‑quality data, reports, and impact measurements.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate all PME processes (assessment, baseline planning, evaluation, AIM+) within APs and grants, aligning documents with the LEAP framework.
- Support cluster and Area Programme Managers to ensure programme planning and review meet LEAP 3.0/IPF standards.
- Plan baselines and evaluations, develop terms of reference, adapt data collection tools, train enumerators, and supervise data collection.
- Review evaluation and baseline reports for compliance with DME standards.
- Coordinate operational research processes at the AP level.
- Provide technical support for monthly, semi‑annual, and annual management reports, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Adapt or develop monitoring tools and methodologies in collaboration with technical specialists.
- Mentor and supervise AP staff to maintain data quality across programming levels.
- Verify monitoring data for completeness, coherence, and accuracy.
- Support data processing, analysis, and interpretation, and guide clusters in using findings to refine programmes.
- Identify advocacy implications of monitoring reports and communicate them proactively.
- Lead annual impact measurement processes and ensure correct implementation of the LEAP3 framework.
- Conduct training, coaching, and mentorship for clusters and area teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience coordinating PME processes within humanitarian or development programmes.
- Familiarity with the LEAP3 framework and integrated programme standards.
- Strong analytical ability to review and validate monitoring data and reports.
- Experience training enumerators and providing technical mentorship to staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cluster, area, and programme managers.
