Human Resources Executive

About the role

Abans Auto, a leading automotive distributor in Sri Lanka, is seeking a Human Resources Executive to manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and employee administration across its extensive network of service outlets and workshops. The role will support the company’s growth by ensuring smooth HR processes and maintaining accurate employee records.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate full recruitment cycles, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, and onboarding documentation.
• Manage employee onboarding, ID creation, email accounts, user access, and IT‑related requests.
• Handle employee resource requests such as SIM cards, fuel cards, and dongles.
• Liaise with internal departments and external authorities to ensure seamless employee administration.
• Maintain attendance system registrations, employee documentation, and conduct new‑employee follow‑up calls.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in HR operations or employee administration.
• Good knowledge of recruitment, onboarding and employee record management processes.
• Strong coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRIS or employee database management (preferred).
