Heating Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential and commercial clients. You will work on‑site, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve HVAC system faults using strong troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform plumbing tasks associated with HVAC installations and repairs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on heating and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Handle electrical components safely, adhering to proper electricity standards.
• Ensure compliance with EPA or equivalent environmental regulations.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals and service documentation.
• Provide clear communication with customers and deliver a customer‑focused service.
• Work safely on‑site, manage time efficiently and handle physically demanding tasks.

Required profile

• Relevant technical certification or vocational training in HVAC, mechanical or electrical fields.
• Prior experience as an HVAC technician or in a related technical role (advantageous).
• Ability to work safely on‑site and manage workload independently.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and good communication skills.
