Category Manager – Milk & Agriculture

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Category Manager – Milk & Agriculture to lead the development and execution of category growth strategies. The role will drive category performance, identify market opportunities, optimise product portfolios and support overall business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies to increase sales, profitability and market share.
• Analyse consumer behaviour, shopper insights, market trends and competitive activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Manage pricing, promotions, product assortment and portfolio optimisation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and other cross‑functional teams to achieve category objectives.
• Identify and execute innovation, new product development and category expansion initiatives.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and data‑driven insights, recommending actions to improve results.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide regular market intelligence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing, Brand Management or Sales within the FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Commercial mindset with a solid understanding of category performance drivers.
• Experience in dairy, agriculture or FMCG is a distinct advantage.
