About the role
Damn Fine Coffee Company is looking for a full‑time Barista to join its Colombo café. You will learn and perform daily café operations, preparing high‑quality coffee and beverages while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and other drinks according to company standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Operate coffee equipment safely and ensure proper maintenance.
- Welcome guests, take orders, process payments and provide a welcoming service experience.
- Participate in training sessions to develop barista skills and product knowledge.
Required profile
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good barista abilities, including espresso extraction and milk texturing.
- Excellent communication for taking orders and explaining menu items.
- Ability to stand for long periods, work flexible shifts and maintain high service standards.
