Sales & Marketing Associate

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Associate to join our Colombo showroom. You will interact with walk‑in and referred customers, understand their interior design needs and recommend furniture solutions that match style, budget and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, assess their furniture and interior requirements.
• Present product features, benefits and prepare accurate quotations.
• Follow up on leads, support sales campaigns and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotions and assist in showroom displays.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Participate in training sessions, share product knowledge with colleagues and support customer‑service initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Experience in retail, furniture, interior design or related sales environments (preferred).
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and social‑media promotional activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively on‑site in Colombo.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).

Required skills

• Comfortable using computers and basic office applications for quotations, correspondence and reporting.
