WordPress Developer – Part-Time

About the role

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our client’s team on a part‑time, fully remote basis. The role requires 20–30 hours per week during Australian business hours and involves developing, maintaining and improving WordPress sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
• Customize themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
• Build new pages, features and functionality from design files or wireframes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to websites, plugins, themes and performance.
• Optimize sites for speed, SEO, usability and mobile responsiveness.
• Perform core, theme and plugin updates and implement security and backup best practices.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, forms and other tools as needed.
• Test across different browsers and devices and collaborate remotely with designers and developers.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability to work 20–30 hours per week during Australian business hours.
