Lead DevOps Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Understand and adapt to our client's DevOps culture
• Be accountable and take ownership of the DevOps activities in assigned projects
• Lead DevOps teams working on various projects
• Lead in CI/CD automation, pipeline implementation, and integration tasks
• Contribute towards optimisation of DevOps practices through process improvements and new technology adaptations
• Contribute to different stages of the SDLC process when necessity arises
• Lead maintaining sprint tracker, identification and mitigation of risks
• Review tasks performed by team members to ensure quality
• Lead estimation efforts
• Contribute to designing CI/CD automation pipelines and deployment architectures
• Lead teams working on system performance measuring and monitoring
• Assist relevant support teams to achieve SLAs
• Participate in System Integration Testing
• Conduct DevSecOps practices

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, IT, Systems/Networking
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Networking, IT or Telecommunication

Required skills

• UNIX‑based operating systems
• Scripting languages and tools: Bash, Ansible, Python, Terraform
• Programming languages: Java, Angular, React, PHP
• CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, SonarQube, Kubernetes, Docker, SCM tools
• Monitoring and log management: Prometheus, Grafana
• Experience with one or multiple cloud platforms
• Database management systems (DBMS) maintenance
• System and network security (DevSecOps)
