Draughtsman – Offshore Facilities (Living Fit-out)

About the role

We are seeking a Draughtsman for Offshore Facilities within our Living Fit‑out division. The role is based in Colombo and supports a UAE‑based diversified group, providing engineering and drafting services for offshore and fit‑out projects across the Gulf region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and revise technical drawings, layouts, diagrams and design documentation based on project specifications and engineering inputs.
• Liaise with architects, engineers and project teams to gather design inputs, structural requirements and technical information.
• Interpret sketches, specifications and engineering concepts to produce accurate drawings.
• Calculate dimensions, material requirements, weight limits and other technical parameters.
• Identify operational, functional or constructability issues and modify designs to improve efficiency.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, regulations, quality standards and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions and project documentation for the required retention period.

Required profile

• Experienced drafting professional with a background in offshore facilities or fit‑out projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and incorporate design changes.
• Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality and compliance.
