Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting

About the role

Infomate, a leading shared services provider, is looking for an experienced finance professional to take on a leadership role overseeing Accounts Payable and Finance Operations. The role focuses on delivering service excellence, driving process efficiency, and developing a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Accounts Payable and Finance Operations.
• Manage high‑volume invoice processing and end‑to‑end AP activities.
• Coach, mentor and develop the team to achieve KPIs and operational targets.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Handle client queries and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
• Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax and IRD requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting & Finance with strong AP exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (mandatory).
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA or CIMA (mandatory).
• Hands‑on experience with high‑volume invoice processing.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation and IRD matters.
• Proven people‑management and leadership experience.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
