Senior Engineer - Datacom

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Datacom will lead technical problem‑resolution for ongoing projects and maintained devices, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, customers, and internal teams to uphold agreed technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all technical issues in running projects and maintenance devices, delivering high‑quality services.
• Support project managers and implementation managers to control project quality and maintain routine maintenance.
• Provide timely resolution of customer technical problems, product changes, and correction releases.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product and technical knowledge through self‑learning to meet service requirements.
• Ensure compliance with telecom standards such as ITU‑T and ETSI and produce technical specifications per customer needs.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication/Computer Engineering or IT.
• At least 5 years of experience in the telecom/ISP industry, preferably with data‑communication networks.
• Relevant certifications (HCIA, HCIP, CCNA, CCNP or equivalent expert‑level data network certifications) are preferred.
• Experience with Huawei Datacom products and familiarity with industry standards.

Required skills

• MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, MP‑BGP, BGP‑LU, OSPF, BFD, FRR, QinQ.
• HCIA, HCIP, CCNA, CCNP certifications.
• Huawei Datacom product knowledge.
• Understanding of ITU‑T and ETSI specifications.
