Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Delmege is a leading diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka, operating across interior décor, healthcare, FMCG and logistics. The company is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join its construction and interior projects team and contribute to cost‑effective project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• BOQ preparation for projects.
• Pricing of tender documents.
• Liaising with architects to understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare rate analysis for project components.
• Coordinating with contractors and consultants to ensure accurate and competitive cost estimations.
• Assessing overall project costs and identifying potential financial risks.
• Taking off drawing measurements and physical measurements and verifying with on‑site details where necessary.
• Preparation of cost database and analysis of cost details.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in furniture costing or interior industry is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of MS Excel.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Knowledge of QS software.
• Understanding of FIDIC and CIDA contract forms.
