.NET & Blazor Developer – Finance Systems

About the role

Join the Finance IT team at NEXT Technology Sri Lanka to design, develop and enhance enterprise‑grade financial and integration applications that support NEXT’s global retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and extend Finance applications and integration services using C#.NET and Azure technologies.
• Write clean, testable code, unit and integration tests, and maintain high code‑coverage standards.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation such as low‑level designs, API specs and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with UK development teams to ensure consistent standards and smooth cross‑site delivery.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve productivity and code quality.
• Perform fault‑finding, performance tuning and provide support during key business events.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#.NET 8/10, ASP.NET Core, Web API and Entity Framework Core.
• Hands‑on experience with unit‑testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and mocking (Moq).
• Experience building modern front‑end applications with Blazor or comparable frameworks (React, Angular).
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services, Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server (T‑SQL) and MySQL, and of DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
