JCB Operator – Construction Site (Anuradhapura)

About the role

The JCB Operator will work full‑time on construction sites in Anuradhapura, operating JCB equipment to perform excavation, loading, trenching and site leveling tasks. The role supports project delivery by following site plans, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate JCB machinery for earth‑moving activities such as excavation, loading, trenching and leveling.
• Follow site plans and supervisor instructions, coordinating with engineers and crew.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and proper material handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and assist with general site tasks when the machine is not in use.

Required profile

• Strong experience operating JCB equipment for excavation, loading, trenching and leveling.
• Ability to read and follow basic site instructions, work plans and safety procedures.
• Good physical stamina and awareness of surroundings in outdoor construction environments.
• Prior experience as a JCB or heavy‑machinery operator is highly beneficial.
• Valid operator licence or certification in accordance with local regulations.
