Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Engineer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Engineer will champion a cyber‑secure culture at VIRTUSA by designing, delivering and measuring security awareness initiatives for employees and contingent workers.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and develop a comprehensive Cyber Security Awareness program and related initiatives.
• Drive phishing simulation campaigns and follow‑up activities to reduce enterprise phishing susceptibility.
• Build positive relationships with other functions and leadership to embed security best practices.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity training courses and materials.
• Report to leadership on metrics that measure the impact of training and awareness programs.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year of experience in the cybersecurity field.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of information security and governance controls.
• Understanding of phishing attacks, methodologies and concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with industry‑recognized phishing simulation tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
