Assistant Manager – Tax (Transfer Pricing)

About the role

As an Assistant Manager in EY’s Transfer Pricing practice, you will lead the delivery of high‑quality tax consulting, compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of local and multinational clients in Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review complex transfer pricing compliance and advisory assignments, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
• Manage a broad client portfolio, building long‑term professional relationships.
• Represent clients before the Inland Revenue Department and the Tax Appeals Commission, preparing and presenting submissions for appeal hearings.
• Collaborate with EY global teams on cross‑border tax matters relevant to Sri Lanka.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and supervision to junior team members.

Required profile

• Recognised academic or professional qualification in accounting, finance or law (e.g., CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA).
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in taxation, finance or consulting.
• Strong analytical and interpretative abilities to handle complex technical matters.
• Excellent written communication and client‑handling skills in English.
