Assistant Engineer - HVAC

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer – HVAC to support the installation and commissioning of HVAC projects such as VRF, chiller, and ducted split systems. The role will work closely with senior engineers, design, logistics and service teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising HVAC project installations (VRF, chiller, ducted split, etc.).
• Coordinate with design, logistics and service teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor site activities, track schedules and enforce safety standards.
• Support inspections, testing and pre‑commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Prepare basic site reports and update project progress for senior engineers.
• Attend site meetings and help resolve technical issues.
• Ensure work complies with company quality and ISO standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or NDT/NDES/HNDE in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in HVAC project work (fresh graduates may also apply).
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF, chilled water, ducted split) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings and project documentation is a plus.

Required skills

• Understanding of VRF HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of chilled water and ducted split HVAC installations.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Basic site reporting and documentation skills.
